The heart of the wedding hall

Wedding Kosha in Abu Dhabi

The kosha is where the bride is seen, photographed and celebrated, so it sets the mood for the whole hall. Our collection runs from an intimate engagement corner to a custom royal stage, each one designed, built and installed by our team.

Stage kosha with red and white flowers and a white sofa

Why the kosha matters so much

In an Emirati or Arab wedding the kosha is far more than a backdrop. It is where the bride sits after her zaffa, where the mothers and sisters gather for photographs, and where the groom joins her later in the evening. Guests look at it all night, so its scale, light and flowers shape how the whole celebration feels.

That is why we price our kosha work as a clear collection. You can see from the start what each level includes, then we tailor the colours, materials and flowers to your hall and your family's taste.

Kosha styles we design

Every style can be scaled up or down to suit the hall and the guest count.

  • ClassicA panel stage with a carpeted platform, a grand sofa, symmetrical flower arrangements and warm lighting. Timeless and photographs well.
  • Modern minimalClean arches, soft neutral tones, a lot of white space and a few strong floral moments. Suits smaller halls and contemporary brides.
  • FloralWalls and arches dressed in flowers, from cascading roses to soft garden mixes, with fresh blooms for the areas closest to the bride.
  • Emirati heritageSadu-inspired textures, carved wood, brass lanterns, majlis cushions and palm details that honour local tradition with a refined finish.
  • RoyalA tall custom build with layered levels, mirrored or gilded panels, chandeliers and styling that runs from the entrance to the tables.
  • Engagement cornerA compact backdrop, sofa, flowers and a names sign for a milka, katb ketab or engagement at home or in a small hall.

How a kosha is designed and installed

  1. Brief and hall detailsWe take your date, venue, hall size, ceiling height, guest count and colour ideas, plus photos of the space if you have them.
  2. Design boardYou receive a mood board with the layout, palette, sofa, flowers and lighting, with the matching collection level and price.
  3. Sign-off and bookingOnce you approve the design in writing, the booking is confirmed with a deposit and production begins.
  4. Build and installOur team installs during the hall's set-up window, usually on the day or the night before, then tests the lighting.
  5. Wedding night and removalWe check the stage before the bride arrives and remove everything after the event, within the venue's rules.

What affects the price of a kosha

  • The size of the stage and the height of the backdrop, which follow the hall's dimensions.
  • Fresh flowers versus high-quality artificial flowers, and how much of the stage they cover.
  • A custom build or a design adapted from existing panels and arches.
  • Extra styling beyond the stage: entrance, aisle, guest tables, photo corner and ceiling.
  • Lighting, such as spotlights, LED effects or chandeliers.
  • Set-up window and timing: late-night or same-day installs, and venues outside Abu Dhabi city.

Compare before you choose

If you are still shaping the total, the wedding budget calculator adds a kosha level to your guest count and venue band in a few minutes, and the guide to venue types explains how each kind of hall changes the setup.

Kosha questions

How far ahead should we book the kosha?

For winter weekends and the weeks after Ramadan, two to three months ahead is sensible. Smaller setups can often be arranged with a few weeks' notice.

Can we see the design before paying?

Yes. You receive a design board and a written scope, and you confirm in writing before any deposit is taken.

Do you install in any hall or hotel?

We install in hotel ballrooms, wedding halls, majlis spaces and homes in Abu Dhabi city, following each venue's access hours. Al Ain is on request.

Is the sofa and carpet included?

In the classic collection and above, the stage, carpet and sofa are part of the setup. The exact items are listed in your scope.
