Wedding Venues in Abu Dhabi
The venue decides your guest count, your budget and much of the mood. Here is how the main venue types in Abu Dhabi compare, with market price bands to help you plan before you visit.

Start with the type of venue, not the name
Abu Dhabi offers grand hotel ballrooms on the Corniche and Saadiyat, dedicated wedding halls with separate ladies' sections, beachfront lawns, family majlis spaces and private yachts. Each type suits a different guest count and a different style of celebration, and their pricing works in different ways: some charge per person with a minimum spend, others rent the space and leave catering and decor to you.
We help you settle the type to start, then shortlist venues that match your date, numbers and budget. Partner venues are available on request, and we can also work with a venue you have already chosen. Once the venue is fixed, our kosha and decor team and the rest of the vendors plan around its rules.
Venue types
Start with the type of space; the right names follow from your date, numbers and budget.

Hotel ballroom
Pillar-free rooms with in-house catering, valet parking and a stage area, usually priced per person with a minimum spend. Suits 150 guests and above.

Wedding hall
Purpose-built halls, often with a separate ladies' section. Many rent the space and leave the kosha, catering and decor to you, which gives more freedom of style.

Beach, garden or terrace
Sunset ceremonies on a lawn or by the water. Outdoor and temporary venues are registered before the event by the venue or an authorised organiser, with the landowner's consent.

On a yacht
An intimate setting for a proposal or a small wedding of 20 to 40 guests, on our sister yacht fleet. See the yacht proposal and yacht wedding.

Majlis or home
The family majlis, a villa garden or a tent at home, styled and run like a hall, with outside catering and the kosha brought in.

- Access hours for the kosha team and how late the celebration may run.
- Whether outside suppliers, cakes and performers are allowed, and any fees for them.
Venue questions
Do you have partner venues?
Partner venues are available on request. Tell us your date, guest count and budget, and we shortlist suitable options.
Is the venue price included in your planning fee?
No. Venue and catering invoices are separate from planning fees, unless a bundle says otherwise.
How do I estimate the total?
Try our wedding budget calculator with your guest count and venue band, then compare with the Abu Dhabi wedding cost guide.
Do outdoor venues need registration?
Yes. Beach, garden and other temporary venues must be registered with the authorities before the event. Hotels and registered venues usually handle it.
